Mukund Education Society (MES) was established in December 1984 at taluka place Risod, in Maharashtra State, under the visionary leadership of Mr. Mohanlalji Jain, Mrs. Sushila Walchale, and Adv. Vaishali Walchale Jain, intention to deliver social service through various projects viz literacy programs, self employment projects, health care programs and education..right from essential schooling to higher education including technical, paramedical and professional courses, at the lowest cost affordable by the students and people of the socio-economically and financially backward region of Maharashtra.

MES is serving the society with various causes like woman and youth empowerment, child development, village development, environment awareness, health care camps, youth personality development, fight against mal nutrition and social awareness programs.

Due to the prevalence of non productive agricultural land and non developed tribal population, Vidarbha region of Maharashtra is socially, economically and educationally backward, thus our society has since its inception managed to provide quality education and service and attaining milestones in said vertical of the social development.

Our primary objective has been towards providing professional and technical education, at corporate quality environment in the rural area. We made it possible due to dedicated service and enormous efforts taken by the member directors and staff of Mukund education Society. It has valuable experience in areas like education, academics, industry, service and social organizations.

In addition to development in education, we contribute towards social causes like health care programs, water management, computer literacy, woman and child care awareness, I believe the socioeconomic development is very important to increase self awareness and per capita income, thus improving the lives of the people of this region.
We appeal to all the good-hearted citizens, Funding Organizations, Philanthropic and Business Houses and specially to the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to contribute liberally for the noble cause we are trying to serve.
