Computer Literacy Drives

From smart phones to digital cameras, computers are changing our everyday lives. The computer literacy program introduces students to new digital technologies, including digital audio, digital video, and related issues. It explores how these and other computing technologies are creating new career opportunities and shaping the world we live in. This program is useful since it helps students from rural background to gain knowledge of computers and its use in their home and work places.

The society has started this program considering the need of educating backward students about the ease and efficiency that a computer brings into the life of its users. MES has taken this program to various villages, due to which, today, several villages can boast of a computer literate population. This program provides its participants with information on topics like introduction to computers, common computer terminology, computer performance and features, computer operating systems, career opportunities in the field of computers, the Internet, Cloud services, and the World Wide Web, using E-Mail and other modes of communicating on the Internet. This program ensures that our students, though from a remote and technologically backward area, do not lag behind in the modern times.
